About this event

Join us in the Autumn for a photography landscape trip to one of the UK'S most picturesque locations: The Yorkshire Dales. We are pleased to offer this fantastic landscape photography tour, spread out over 3 days at a great time of year when the Autumn colours will be glowing with gold. This is the perfect opportunity to really hone your skills in landscape photography by getting expert advice in some wonderful locations in this fantastic area. The costs of the course includes private double room en-suite hotel accommodation in a stunningly situated hotel right in the heart of the dales.



This area offers some of the most charming & pretty landscapes in the UK and we will concentrate on the Swaledale and Wensleydale area.
 


ABOUT YOUR TUTOR
Don Bishop has been a keen enthusiast photographer for over 30 years, initially concentrating for the majority of that time on photographing his other great passion – steam trains. He went full time professional in 2006 and increased the time spent on landscape subjects and now has a comprehensive collection of fine art prints available of coast, country and mountain areas of the UK. His images are frequently published in magazines and he loves sharing his passion of photography and helping others improve their skills by offering expert tuition. WHATS INCLUDED
The course fee includes 2 nights accommodation in your own private an en suite room with breakfast each morning plus £20 each evening (2 nights) towards your dinner at the hotel. We plan to either car share for the trip with Emily & Don as drivers or we will hire a minibus.  If we can share we will need 1 volunteer driver to give 2 people a lift around who will be re-imbursed for petrol.

TIMINGS & DATES
This course will begin at 14:00 on Tuesday 15th October 2024 and finish up at sunset on Thursday 17th October 2024 thus giving you 3 sunsets and 2 sunrises.

PAYMENT
Secure your place by paying a £150 deposit now with the remainder due 60 days before the event start date. The balance can be paid in 3  instalments of £200 or all at once, whichever you prefer.

GROUP SIZE
This course will be limited to 9 photographers and will be run by Don Bishop with Emily Mudie assisting.

ACCOMODATION
Our hotel will be the lovely Racehorses hotel in Kettlewell: https://www.racehorseshotel.co.uk/

The hotel have kindly offered everyone a £10 disocunt per night if you would like to extend your stay (£95 per night for a double ensuite room with breakfast, usually £105). If you want any extrta nights just send Emily an email at emily@leadinglines.events and she can book you in for any extra nights.
